Submitting Your Electronic Thesis or Dissertation (ETD)

Graduate College approves ETD

After you submit your ETD to the Graduate College, they may return it to you with feedback on formatting or other requirements they have. When they approve it, they'll send an "Approval Email" to you and the University Libraries.

The "Approval Email" is really important because it includes 2 attachments:

• The final, Graduate College-approved PDF. They will insert an Approval Page on page 2-3 of the document that is basically their official stamp of approval. It lets everyone know that this version is the official version.
• Instructions on how to submit the PDF to ProQuest.
