Instructor Information

Image of Dr. Danny Young

Dr. Danny Young is an Associate Professor at the UNLV School of Integrated Health Sciences in the Department of Physical Therapy. Dr. Young completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy Training at Creighton University. Dr. Young holds an appointment as an Adjunct Professon in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where he helps lead the Activity and Mobility Promotion (AMP) Program. His research aims to combat the immobility harm experienced by patients in the hospital by better understanding the access to, outcomes, and costs associated with inpatient rehabilitation efforts. (source:https://www.unlv.edu/people/daniel-young)

 

 

Course Description

Introduction to principles and concepts of clinical research in physical therapy. Covers development of the research question, measurement issues, statistical analysis, literature review, and writing of results.
