Citation Management Software Tools

There are several software programs that help writers and researchers collect and annotate sources as well as help create in-text citations and bibliography lists.  Two of these software programs are available to UNLV students, staff, and faculty at no cost: RefWorks and Mendeley.  See below for resources to learn about and use these programs to make your research, writing and formatting for different styles more efficient.

Below are guides to each of the citation management software programs provided to UNLV.  You can also ask a library worker for assistance with these programs.  Sue Wainscott is the main contact for Mendeley, and several library workers are experts in RefWorks.  Contact library workers here http://ask.library.unlv.edu/
