Our library staff is committed to providing the best possible service.  Some of our most frequently used services are described below.

Borrow items from the library

Most of our library materials are available to check out.  Check out privileges and borrowing periods vary.

Borrow cameras, projectors, microphones, and other multimedia equipment

We have equipment available for your class assignments or your personal projects.

Lied Library Design Lab

The Lied Library Design Lab Specialist supports the creation of podcasts, music recordings, video presentations, websites and other types of research and creative activity. UNLV students, faculty, and staff are welcome to contact the Specialist to learn more about multimedia production and editing techniques.

Borrow items from other libraries

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows UNLV students, staff, and faculty to borrow from other libraries if items are not available at UNLV Libraries.  Most articles arrive within 24 hours, and books arrive within a week.  The Library typically covers all charges for this service.

Printing and Copying

Printing and copying are available in Lied Library.  Use your RebelCard to pay for each service.

Services for disabled persons

The library works with UNLV’s Disability Resource Center to accommodate reasonable requests for assistance in obtaining, accessing, and making use of library resources, materials and services.
