Welcome to the School of Medicine Library!
Located at 625 Shadow Lane the School of Medicine Library is available to the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, medical students, faculty, residents, fellows and staff.
UNLV Faculty, Residents and Fellows have 24/7 access to our extensive and growing collection of library databases, e-books, e-journals, and more. Please refer to the Important Accounts section below to ensure you are set-up with the proper accounts to take full advantage of our resources.

Access to the Kirk Kerkorian Medical Education building are via programmed cards provided to UNLV faculty, staff and students by their respective schools and departments. However, if you feel you should have card access but do not, please contact us at medlib@unlv.edu so we can put you in contact with the appropriate person.
Card access to SOML is from 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday.
For access between 5PM - 6PM, Monday - Thursday, please knock on the glass entry door and present your ID.
In order to ensure full use of the library and it's resources, please make sure you have the following important accounts and numbers set-up and the information stored in a safe but accessible space:
The ACE Account allows access to computers, software, printing and library resources. It is managed through the University Office of Information and Technology.

Your RebelCard Account is linked to your NSHE Number (which you receive through HR communications).
Your NSHE number and RebelCash are important for:
Once you have received your NSHE number, you will be able to login to add money to your RebelCash account using a credit card.
Register for a library barcode in order to check out items from SOML, register for an interlibrary loan account, and request items be delivered to the SOML from main campus.
