This guide helps History Day teachers and students use the materials, services and resources available at the UNLV Libraries and get more information about our annual Night at the Libraries. The UNLV Libraries is a research library with extensive collections of books, journals, newspapers, government documents, microfilm and manuscripts.

Please note: By car, Lied Library is only accessible from the intersection of Harmon Ave and Swenson St between Tropicana Ave and Flamingo Rd. Do not turn on to Harmon Ave from Maryland Parkway. Harmon Ave does not continue across UNLV’s campus. Lied Library has no physical street address, but you can use the address 944 E Harmon Ave in your GPS (The address is for the EPA Building directly across the street from the Library.)
Free parking is available in the S Lot near the intersection of Swenson and Harmon (west side of campus). It is a 5 minute walk to the Lied Library along Harmon Avenue.
Metered parking is available next to the Lied Library on Harmon Ave as well as in the N Lot. Meters only accept quarters or users can pay using the PayByPhone Parking App.
During the regular school year meters are enforced 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday - Thursdays; 7:00 am - 1:00 pm Fridays. Reserved and Handicapped parking is enforced 24/7 (fines are severe).
