This guide helps History Day teachers and students use the materials, services and resources available at the UNLV Libraries. The UNLV Libraries is a research library with extensive collections of books, journals, newspapers, government documents, microfilm and manuscripts.

Directions to the Lied Library

Please note: By car, Lied Library is only accessible from the intersection of Harmon Ave and University Center between Tropicana Ave and Flamingo Rd. Do not turn on to Harmon Ave from Maryland Parkway. Harmon Ave does not continue across UNLV’s campus. Lied Library has no physical street address, but it is findable on many map apps.) 

Free parking is available in any parking spot that has meters or says student or staff on Saturdays and Sundays. Reserved and Handicapped parking is enforced 24/7 (fines are severe). Information about parking on weekdays is available through UNLV Parking
