EndNote Troubleshooting
Below are some common issues you may encounter while using EndNote. We've included additional library guides that detail steps for resolving other issues using EndNote20. After downloading EndNote20, you may not see a new library right away. Follow the below steps to open and create a new EndNote library on the Mac for the program to be visible:
Step 1 | Run the EndNote 20 application from your "Applications" folder.
Step 2 | Now you would be able to see "EndNote 20" on the top left corner of your screen (beside the “Apple” icon).
Step 3 | Click on "File" > "New" > you may rename your EndNote library and save it locally on your computer (Do not save it on the cloud storage or location synced to cloud storage such as iCloud/DropBox/OneDrive), do not save it as a "Package" as well.
Step 4 | You may then click on "Save".
You would be able to see the newly created library after completing these steps.
