This guide is to help Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine users download, install, and use EndNote. The most current version available from the School of Medicine Library is EndNote21.

What is EndNote?

EndNote is a citation management system also known as a reference management system used to collect bibliographic records from the scholarly literature. Examples of these include: abstract records for journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference proceedings. EndNote can also store the full text for bibliographic records by importing PDF files.

The School of Medicine Library provides access to EndNote 21 and EndNote 20.

Who Can Access EndNote?

Free Access:
EndNote Basic is available to anyone as this is the free limited version of EndNote.

 

Restricted Access:
The School of Medicine Library provides access to the desktop version of EndNote for Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine affiliated users. Affiliated users are limited to medical school faculty, staff, medical students, residents, and fellows.


Our subscription allows affiliated users to download and install a copy of EndNote 20 or 21 on their personal PC or Mac device. Coming soon! EndNote 21 will also be available in our computer lab.
