CME through Library Databases
Many of the health databases UNLV Libraries purchase offer the opportunity to earn CME.
You will need to create a personal user account with each product you wish to use.
When creating your account you must use an internet browser and go through the library website in order for the institutional subscription to be recognized. This can be done from home or on campus.
After this step, you can go directly to the resource however it is easiest for you and log in to your account. Many require periodic sign in from our institutional IP, so it is suggested that once every 90 days you go back into your accounts through the library website either from home or on campus.
Most products will use your email as your username, but some do not. You can still use your email as your username to keep things simple.
Using your ACE password can help you cut down on password fatigue as well as help you keep passwords fresh - change your account passwords as you change your ACE password.
You MUST be signed into your individual accountfor CME to automatically accumulate.

UpToDate content is reviewed and updated regularly to maintain the currency, accuracy, and relevance of information. It includes: a drug database, drug interactions program, patient information handouts, medical calculators, treatment recommendations, and articles in medical specialty areas.

Physicians may earn 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for each search conducted through ClinicalKey. ClinicalKey has been approved by the American Osteopathic Association for AOA Category 2-B credit.

Click on My Account on the top right. Then click on register under "Access My Personal Profile." Once registered and logged into "My Account" click the Earn CME and Claim CME tabs on the left of the screen to learn how to earn and claim credit.
