eMed Events: Las Vegas Conferences
We are committed to connecting Continuing Medical Education providers around the world to various healthcare professionals—including physicians, dentists, pharmacists, and nurses.

Many of the health databases UNLV Libraries purchase offer the opportunity to earn CME.

You will need to create a personal user account with each product you wish to use.
- When creating your account you must use an internet browser and go through the library website in order for the institutional subscription to be recognized. This can be done from home or on campus.
  - After this step, you can go directly to the resource however it is easiest for you and log in to your account. Many require periodic sign in from our institutional IP, so it is suggested that once every 90 days you go back into your accounts through the library website either from home or on campus.
- Most products will use your email as your username, but some do not. You can still use your email as your username to keep things simple.
- Using your ACE password can help you cut down on password fatigue as well as help you keep passwords fresh - change your account passwords as you change your ACE password.
You MUST be signed into your individual account for CME to automatically accumulate.

UpToDate
Click on "register" in the upper right and follow directions to set up a new user account. This brief video can help explain how to earn and claim CME.
Note: you must login on a browser through the library website at least once every 90 days to maintain your mobile access and individual user account details.

UpToDate content is reviewed and updated regularly to maintain the currency, accuracy, and relevance of information. It includes: a drug database, drug interactions program, patient information handouts, medical calculators, treatment recommendations, and articles in medical specialty areas.
Clinical Key
Click on "register" in the top right to create an account. Once logged in, a three line menu appears in the top right corner of the homepage. Click this to go to the CME section. Physicians may earn 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for each search conducted through ClinicalKey. ClinicalKey has been approved by the American Osteopathic Association for AOA Category 2-B credit.

In addition, Clinical Key provides access to nearly one million images, including tables, graphics and illustrations, as well as to full text journals, an evidence-based, point of care tool, guidelines, multimedia and much more.
AccessMedicine
First register for a MyAccess account by clicking Sign-In in the top right of the home screen. When signed into your account you can use all "Access" products the library subscribes to. Please watch this brief video on how to earn CME.
