FAQ: I'd like to access the library's materials from off-campus, how can I?

Current UNLV students, staff, and faculty can access most of our digital content by logging in with your ACE account when prompted.

Current UNLV students, staff, and faculty also have access to our Interlibrary Loan service.

Anyone else who can travel to the UNLV campus can also request sponsored guest wifi access (eduroam) for any device with internet access, and use the library website while on campus to access most of our digital content.

Research Paper Databases and Search Tips

The below databases will help you locate scholarly articles, news reports, book chapters, and technical reports about Transportation Engineering topics.  Each database has a different set of items contained within it, and you will want to consider what words the author may have used (e.g. air pollution, or air quality?)  Use quotation marks around a specific phrase to search for exactly "state implementation plan" documents.

In some cases, the full text of certain items may take a couple of days to reach you through a request to an agency, or through an interlibrary loan request.  Don't delay, and ask a librarian for help if you can't find the full text of something!
