What perspectives on my research question should I be looking for?

There are several perspectives worth taking seriously as part of your research:

Type of authority Examples Where to find them
Shapers of public opinion Media figures, celebrities, politicians Political speeches, TED Talks, opinion pieces in news outlets (USNewsStream is a good place to start).
Stakeholders directly involved Eyewitnesses, people in a related industry, people affected by the issue or question "Serious" social media accounts, interviews in news coverage, industry websites.
Expert research specialists Social researchers, health researchers, historians, "serious" critics Books and journal articles in QuickSearch

Encyclopedias for Background (Wikipedia often works for this too.)

Magazines and Newspapers

Books and Book Chapters in QuickSearch. Use the limiters to narrow to "Book" or "Book Chapter."
