UNLV Libraries has obtained access to Altmetric Explorer for a 1-year pilot program. During this pilot, UNLV Libraries will gather feedback from users across campus to determine whether obtaining an ongoing subscription is needed.
UNLV faculty, staff, and students can access Altmetric Explorer by visiting https://www.altmetric.com/explorer.
NOTE: An account must be created using your UNLV email address, or by logging in while on the main UNLV campus.
We need your feedback! Please consider leaving feedback about your experience using Altmetric Explorer by filling out this short survey.
For questions or concerns regarding the pilot, please contact Christina Miskey via email at christina.miskey@unlv.edu.
Altmetric Explorer is a tool that tracks altmetrics, using persistent identifiers such as DOIs, ISSNs, and ISBNs, and creates an Altmetric Attention Score (how it's calculated) reflecting some of the impacts that an article or scholarly work has on sources such as social media, news media outlets, and more.
