September is Latinx Heritage Month and UNLV University Libraries wants to celebrate by sharing with you some of our materials, including some unique resources only housed right here at UNLV!

Photos from the Celia Rivero Grenfeld Photo Collection (PH-0052) in Special Collections. The Riveros were a pioneering Mexican-American family who settled in Las Vegas in 1917 from Aquascalientes, Mexico. Francisco “Frank” Rivero was the owner of the popular Frank’s Café on South First Street in the 1930s.
