CML Praxis materials
The Libraries have purchased several Praxis (PPST and PLT) study guides. Several of these guides may be available for three week or more limited checkout at the CML.
Search the Libraries catalog under Keyword "PRAXIS" or "PPST" to find out the locations of these items. Test preparation information and Tests at a Glance are available for download.
Look for specific local information on the ETS.org Nevada page. Download a PDF of the 2008-2009 Praxis Information Bulletin. In addition, UNLV provides access to LearningExpress Library, which allows UNLV students an opportunity to take practice tests on the Praxis I (PPST) and Praxis II Content Knowledge, as well as tests pertaining to a range of topics including math and English skills improvement, TOEFL, and graduate school entrance exams. The Praxis practice tests can be found by selecting the “Teaching” category.
From off-campus, you will need your UNLV Libraries barcode (usually your RebelCard) and your PIN code.
LearningExpress Library is also available through the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (click on LearningExpress (Learn a Test). Users of this site need a valid LVCCLD library card and PIN number.
