A guide to acquaint Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine faculty with the School of Medicine Library at the Shadow Lane Campus.

Hardware

The School of Medicine Library focuses on providing technology-forward services and resources. Each library location is equipped with most of the basic technology needed to research, study and collaborate effectively.

  • 2 PC stations with dual screens
  • 12 single PC stations
  • 2 flatbed Canon scanners
  • 1 HP printer/scanner/copier
  • 2 interactive media screens located in each study room
    • HDMI, VGA and audio cords included in rooms

  • 3 PC stations with dual screens
  • 18 single PC stations
  • 2 HP printer/scanner/copiers
  • 5 interactive media screens located in each study room
  • 4 moveable power towers
  • 1 Google JamBoard

All library PC stations are also equipped with 2 power and 2 USB ports.

Technology on Reserve

Both library spaces have technology and accessories available for limited-time loans to those with an active UNLV Libraries barcode. The ability to borrow most technology also requires signing a separate usage agreement.
