Strategies to identify journals that address topics of interest:
UNLV Libraries journal subscriptions are primarily online, although some titles are only available in print format (or microfilm!).
If you know the journal title there are TWO WAYS to access the articles (illustrated below):
OPTION 1. Use the link FIND E-JOURNALS BY TITLE on the UNLV Libraries webpage (#1 in image below). You will find most here but IF NOT see Option 2 below.
Different years of this journal are available from different publishers. Choose one that includes the year(s) you need. If you don't like how that works, try another!
OPTION 2. Use the LIBRARY CATALOG (#2 in image below, then select JOURNAL TITLE search tab (next image).
Journal Title Search Results in the Library Catalog
The journal description pictured below provides information about the PAPER copy (Location = LASR), and a link to the ELECTRONIC copy (Location = Internet).
Volumes shelved in LASR must be requested using the button in the record display. Use the LASR button next to the volume/year you need. You can request multiple volumes, but must do so one at a time.
Underneath the title, read carefully the LIBRARY HAS information. UNLV Library has paper copies of this journal beginning with 1967, but there are issues of the journal available on microfilm that date back to 1964. Microfilm is shelved on 2nd floor, Lied Library. Microfilm readers are on the ground floor.
