During Lied Library's recent Extended Winter Closure, several enhancement projects were completed or are now well underway. The 35-day closure allowed construction crews to work in the building without disturbing or inconveniencing our users. Be sure to check out the photos!
- Updating existing furnishings
- All upholstered furniture was shipped to an off-site upholstery service. All task chairs were recovered in a very durable material to allow for longer life. Each lounge chair was disassembled and repaired; the wood was then refinished, and all fabric and foam replaced.
